Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Joint Fundraising Committee for the benefit of BOTH St. Paul’s and St. Bartholomew’s Churches is hosting an auction (both silent and live) on October 4, 2008 at the St. Bartholomew’s Parish Center. MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of the Saint Paul’s/Saint Bartholomew’s Joint Fund Raising Committee is to raise money to help defray the costs of operating expenses for both churches. The usage of these monies is to be determined by the Pastor and the Joint Parish Council. The secondary goal of this committee is to achieve unity, peace and love between all parishioners of our joint Catholic Community. New items are coming in every day and it is exciting! We have antiques, flower arrangements, signed sports items, exercise equipment, a computer, quilts and afghan, airplane ride for two, antique rocker, praying hands, eagle sculpture, massages, computer tune ups, video games, topsoil, straw, subscriptions, bread, jewelry, baskets of cookbooks, toys, tools, antique car ride and meal, Bed & Breakfast certificate, etc…..
Reminder: Please call a committee member with your donation as soon as possible. A booklet is being prepared for publication before the auction to help you know what to bid on and to give thanks to all our donors. Note**** Recently, Holy Family School hosted a SHARE AUTION. The response was incredible. Some contributions were: One hour of baby sitting, a car wash, raking leaves, making a cake or baked item, preparing a dinner for 4, a service such as one hour of accounting work, computer work, carpentry, landscaping, painting,….
